Graphic design is the filter through which nearly all communication is now disseminated. Therefore, graphic designers are in a unique position as the gatekeepers of information. What, how, and for whom we chose to communicate are crucial decisions that have a serious impact on our civilization. Critiqal is the online platform for artists and designers to showcase work in response to social and political issues.
Designers are seeking critical reflection and engagement through work that explores design's role and potential in relation to public and political issues and public discourse.
My task was to showcase this work on a website that acts like any other news website, however this time the stories are told through works of design.
